She encourages Grant to complete his work at Cambridge in order to concentrate on the upcoming Grafton Group exhibition; she feels her own painting has deteriorated since working at the Omega Workshops. Also mentions Roger Fry, Winnie Gill, Desmond MacCarthy, and Sylvia Milman.
