Bell has returned from Seend, and is preparing to meet Grant in France; she had leased a place, and is concerned that Grant is ill and dislikes Cassis. She asks about measurements for Ethel Sands' Château d'Auppegard, which she and Grant are to decorate. Also mentions Angelica Bell, Angus Davidson, Grace Germany, Ethel Grant, and Peter Morris.
