Description: Letter from Vanessa Bell, Charleston, Firle, East Sussex, to Duncan Grant, who is in Paris en route to Venice. She describes refusing to accomodate the Woolfs and Barbara Hiles because of pressure of decorating the house, reports Roger Fry's acquisition of a house in Gower Street, and gives a pen-portrait of Angelica. Also mentions Nellie Boxall, Miss Chapman, Angus Davidson and the Hogarth Press, Margery Fry, John Maynard Keynes, the Pattle family, and Stephen Tomlin.
