- Description
- Letter from Vanessa Bell, Asheham House, Rodmell, Lewes, East Sussex, to Duncan Grant. She is recovering from her nervous breakdown, and asks Grant to visit. A recent visit by the Woolfs was marred by Leonard admitting to Virginia on their honeymoon that Vanessa had shown him correspondence from her affair with Walter 'Wattie' Lamb. She twice begs Grant to burn this letter to avoid further 'mischief'. Also mentions Clive Bell and Adrian Stephen.
