She is staying with Clive and Roger Fry, who exhaust her with discussions about art, and has seen Dr Craig, a nerve specialist. She contemplates returning to oil painting after her watercolours compare unfavourably to the Cézannes Fry showed her. Also mentions Frederick and Jessie Etchells, George (?Duckworth), and Adrian Stephen.
