Dearest Master, in haste because we're going into the deluge in Austria tomorrow, in Salzburg the quays are already flooded and the electric lights may already be out, it's a catastrophe for the whole country. Crop failure, disease, inflation and ultimately state bankruptcy with help from the east! It's also dangerous for our little car, driving for three days under avalanches, falling rocks, bridges which are giving way and inundated country where you can no longer see the road! We had someone take some wonderful photos. Enlargements are being sent directly to Salzburg, and from there to London. So you should wait with the many articles about the string-pullers in Venice and elsewhere! I am deadly in love with the beautyful one and could paint a masterpiece of her surviving all the 'Zeitkunst' [contemporary art] if you would not be so jealous! Love to all of you, OK
