Dear Pepi,
Here are those two scripts – the one survived a year in the alchemist’s laboratory and the other is a carbon copy. The original was much neater and far more elegant! I haven’t yet received any confirmation from Stuttgart, for the introduction or for the pictures (the only thing to have arrived so far is the invoice from Pitt & Scott).
The exhibition in NVC is still on for another week – not many visitors, unfortunately, and just one, not particularly sympathetic review. Ah well, so it goes.
An old acquaintance of mine, Henry Saunders, has opened a gallery with his wife – on Archway Road, of all places. He convinced me to lend him a few drawings for his second exhibition, then he twisted my arm and got me to give him a couple of paintings. For God’s sake, no-one will see them!
How are you? I myself spent Easter in bed, dozing, with nervous exhaustion. I’ve been feeling better since then.
All best, sincerely yours,
Erich
