This exhibition of Sandra Blow's paintings and collages highlights key moments of her career from the 1950s to the present day. Blow was born in London in 1925 and although she was based there for most of her life she came to Cornwall in the 1950s, when St Ives was internationally recognised as an important outpost for the development of modern art. She returned to live in St Ives in 1994, shortly after the opening of Tate St Ives. Blow is a leading painter of her generation, whose central concerns are abstract form, light, space, texture and rhythm.
