Taking place in front of the artworks, these special talks by our curators, invited guests and writers give an individual interpretation of the temporary exhibitions and the Modern Art and St Ives display.
In our June session, we are delighted to have artist Hannah Hewetson visit to talk about a selection of works in the Patrick Heron exhibition. Hewetson is an artist based in London whose painting practice is about tangible, evident actions that can be seen upon the painted surface. She takes an intuitive and responsive approach; her works owe much to connections through process and chance, as one gesture informs the next and each painting leads to its successor.
Exhibitions include Studio Voltaire, London; Tramway, Glasgow; National Centre for the Arts, Mexico City; One Art Space, Tribeca, New York and the Glasgow Project Room.
