Step inside the mind of German multimedia artist, Wolfgang Tillmans.
Best known for his photographs of 90’s contemporary culture, Tillmans began using table tops as an alternative means to examine the present day. In his wryly-named project truth study center (2005–ongoing), he displays photographs, articles, objects and drawings that present differing versions of ‘truth’.
Today, the subject of fake news is at the heart of political discourse, making the need to question what is real more urgent than ever. Hear Tillmans’ views on the subject in this interactive installation.
