This masterclass offers audiences an in-depth introduction to the artist's working methodology. Having been trained as a sculptor, printmaker and photographer before working with the medium of film, Everson has carried over the approach of creating of bodies of work around particular formal devices into his filmmaking practice. He will discuss his working process and materials as he runs through some of the key techniques and corresponding bodies of work he has produced in both film and moving image installation over the past two decades. He will also discuss recurring subjects and themes represented in his work.
