Shape of Light: 100 Years of Abstract Art and Photography tells the intertwined stories of photography and abstract art. Spanning from the 1910s to the present day, the exhibition celebrates the innovation of photographers over this period and the way they were inspired by, or helped to influence, the development of abstract art.

You will see work by pioneers including Man Ray and Alfred Stieglitz, major contemporary artists such as Barbara Kasten and Thomas Ruff, as well as exciting new works.
