Zach Blas is an artist, filmmaker and writer whose practice engages with technology, queerness and politics. His work has been exhibited internationally and he currently lectures at Goldsmiths, University of London.
This is a unique chance to hear Blas offer a response to Nam June Paik’s work and how it relates to his own approach to media and technology.
Blas will particularly focus on Paik’s famous TV Garden 1974-7 alongside his new work The Doors 2019. How does Paik’s pioneering work continue to inspire artists today?
There will also be an opportunity for audience questions and contributions.
