Biography
Simonetta Fraquelli is an independent curator specialising in early 20th century art. She worked for over twenty years at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, before becoming a freelance curator in 2006. Her most recent exhibitions include Chagall, Modern Master (Kunsthaus Zürich and Tate Liverpool, 2013), Miró, Wall, Frieze, Mural (Kunsthaus Zürich and Schirn, Frankfurt, 2015 -16), Picasso and The Great War (Barnes Foundation, Philadelphia and Museum of Art, Columbus Ohio, 2016) and Modigliani (Tate, 2017-18), which she co-curated with Dr Nancy Ireson.
