Each workshop, led by professional Trinity Laban music and dance practitioners, will collectively explore a politically engaged theme to devise music and lyrics for a new and current protest song. The choir will also work to create improvised material around slogans and a choreography drawing on the tropes of demonstration, the march, the placard, and the chant.
Spaces in the workshops are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Book in to any of the three free workshops to experience this unique collaborative process and join a movement performing with the Protest Choir.
This project is being produced as part of Trinity Laban’s annual festival of creative innovation, CoLab.
