expo zéro is an exhibition project without any objects: no photographs, no sculptures, no paintings, no installations or videos. Instead ten performers, artists and thinkers discuss, enact and perform their ideas of what a museum of dance could be.
Ideas are shared and tested with the audience, through words and actions in Tate Modern’s empty galleries.
Through analysis, descriptions, gestures and movements which each ‘guide-artist’ develop with the audience, a new map of this expanding territory is drawn, live.
With Claire Bishop, Heman Chong, Tim Etchells, Martin Hargreaves, Mette Ingvartsen, Janez Janša, Sung Hwan Kim, Pichet Klunchun, David Riff, Shelley Senter.
