Moving Objects is a photographic and oral history project, which explores why treasured objects become meaningful to their owners. This project focuses on
people who have come to live in Liverpool and the cherished objects that have made the journey with them.
Drop into Tate Exchange between 14.00 – 17.00 each day where there will be a pop-up photographic studio documenting the objects and the stories of the people they belong to.
Join us for the culmination of the project on Sunday 29 July to hear more about the stories that have been gathered during the week.
This project is led by artists Lin Holland and Jane Poulton and has been programmed by Tate Exchange Associate, Liverpool Hope University. As Tate Exchange is within the gallery, no objects that consist of food, drink, plants or have liquid will be able to be photographed.
