To close the Radical Landscapes exhibition, we invite you to explore the haunting possibilities and impact of climate change in a Speculative Fiction workshop. Facilitated by Lucy Nield, University of Liverpool, the workshop will explore three works of fiction looking at how different authors have explored human behaviour and its potential impact on the earth.
The texts explore alternative worlds, the Anthropocene, human behaviour and our relationship to the environment. The session will include discussion and invite participants to reflect on the themes explored in the work. The session will offer an introduction to Speculative Fiction, exploring the art form as a way to understand and reflect on contemporary society.
Texts will be sent to participants on booking.
