Join Liverpool Pride in Tate Exchange for a week of events and workshops that demonstrate the excitement and commitment with which people across our region create a Pride for everyone.
Each year Liverpool Pride brings the city to a halt with a celebration of LGBT+ lives and culture. For the months leading up to Pride, volunteers and community groups across the region prepare costumes, banners, artworks and performances for the big weekend.
Contributors include Come Out of The Shadows, Liverpool Queer Collective, Michael Causer Foundation, Alternative Fashion Festival and Writing on the Wall.
Drop in to Tate Exchange and meet the Liverpool Pride Volunteers who will be here to welcome you into the debate and show you how to get involved in their campaign against homophobia and transphobia.
Art banners from Oliver Bliss, Brian D Hanlon, Sophie Green and Ben Youdan will be on display throughout the week as well as weekend workshops giving you the opportunity to create your own! Also on display will be a selection of photography and moving image captured throughout Liverpool Pride’s history.
