Produced and commissioned by Homotopia in 2011, a rare and candid interview with David Hoyle – interviewed by author Rupert Smith – exploring David’s growing up in Blackpool, arriving in London and his battles with alcohol and drug addiction. David also talks about the time spent performing and creating the celebrated, legendary and iconic character The Divine David. David’s candour and honesty is testament to his generosity of spirit, his humanity and lifelong passion for art.
