Experience the life and work of the artist Francis Bacon in new and surprising ways. Take an unexpected journey through Tate Liverpool’s hidden, non-gallery spaces. During this immersive experience you will encounter grotesque and masked characters who will engage you in the raw and visceral world of Francis Bacon.
Directed by Dende Collective’s Artistic Director, Andre Pink, in collaboration with designer Kate Unwin (Unsung), Musical Director Andy Frizell and Claire Morris from Fallen Angels Dance Theatre. A part of Hope Street Ltd’s Emerging Artists Programme, (EAP) 2016, a six-month intensive volunteering programme that provides participants with the opportunity to create their own work alongside professional artists. EAP2016 participants include community groups RAWD, RISEN, LARA, 4Wings and Tate Liverpool’s Community Collective.
