Ever wondered about the limits of what can be done in galleries as an Early Years and Families professional with a group of children?
This day-long workshop for Early Years and Family professionals tests the limits of the kinds of activities and strategies that can be explored in gallery spaces with early years and family audiences, including physical responses to artwork, alternative approaches to drawing and the use of everyday objects.
Led by artist Ania Bas who has extensive experience of working within the gallery and museum learning sector, this one day course is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a variety of different workshops in the gallery space. You will also experience a thorough introduction to Tate’s offer for early years and family audiences, and participate in an exchange of ideas with other professionals working with early years and families about the ideas, tools and skills to provide enriching experiences for the children and families you work with.
