This is the first major retrospective of Walter Sickert's work at Tate in more than 60 years. Sickert is known for his radical depictions of everyday life while taking inspiration from current events. Creative and colourful, his body of work was ever-changing and can be interpreted in different ways. His lasting impression continues to inspire artists today.
