What could a queer museum look like today for young people?
Many works of art by queer artists are held within the Tate Collection, Library and Archive; however, they aren’t always visible in the gallery.
Join us for Not on Display, a drop-in drawing workshop highlighting queer visibility in the gallery. Using prompts, questions, and ‘live’ drawing, engage with works of art from across the collection by queer artists, particularly artists of colour, that aren’t immediately accessible to public audiences.
Meet members of the Learning department and learn about our research, particularly how young people can be supported to engage with queer art at Tate!
This event is part of Queer and Now, a festival dedicated to the powerful role of LGBTQIA+ art and culture in the UK.
