Antiques Roadshow expert Geoffrey Munn leads a tour of Tate Britain’s BP Walk Through British Art, looking at jewellery and floral decoration from the Renaissance to the 19th century.
Geoffrey has organised many specialist exhibitions, including the 2002 Tiaras exhibition at the V&A in London, and has a particular interest in 19th-century jewellery and metalwork.
This after-hours tour is a unique opportunity to view the Tate collection in a new and exciting way. It is the first of a series of tours led by a diverse range of respected figures from different aspects of British life, opening up discussions around art and life through the permanent collection. Forthcoming tour leaders include gardener, writer and broadcaster Alys Fowler and human rights activist Peter Tatchell.
