We’re keeping Tate Britain open after hours just for Tate Collective! Join us for a special live set by Hip-Hop, Soul and Jazz collective, The Silhouettes Project. Before the live show, experience an exclusive private view of Lynette Yiadom-Boakye's unmissable exhibition: Fly In League With The Night. Plus, get creative with jazz life drawing and a Lynette inspired postcard making workshop.
Live music: The Silhouettes Project
20.30–21.30

Hackney based collective The Silhouettes Project are taking over the galleries of Tate Britain, bringing some of the best up and coming Hip-Hop, Soul and Jazz artists on the scene today. Expect to hear some familiar tunes from their first album and a taster of what’s to come from the platform in their next musical project.
Write What You Can’t Paint
18.30–20.30
Location: Clore Studio
Plant seeds of dreams or bring reality to bloom in a postcard making workshop inspired by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye's words: “I write about the things I can’t paint and paint the things I can’t write”.
Curated by Decarla Phillip-Riley.
Jazz Life Drawing
18.45 and 19.45
Location: Duveens
“When I started to listen to jazz, it marked my thinking about rhythm. Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Bill Evans. Passages in sound that move unexpectedly.” Lynette Yiadom-Boakye.
The horn section of TC & The Groove Family joins us to fill the gallery with live jazz to inspire you to create your own drawings. Whether inspired by the musicians themselves or the space, get behind an easel and let the music lead you.
Use your 10% off in the shop to take the exhibition home.
