The Turner Prize is heading to Bradford. In the year that the UK celebrates the 250th anniversary of JMW Turner’s birth, the annual award will be hosted at Bradford’s Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, the centrepiece of the visual arts programme of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
The Turner Prize showcases and celebrates the most exciting new developments in British art. The prize is awarded to a British artist for an outstanding exhibition or other presentation in the preceding year.
The four shortlisted artists for the Turner Prize 2025 are:
- Nnena Kalu
- Rene Matić
- Mohammed Sami
- Zadie Xa
