What are the benefits?

Cornwall residents can get unlimited year-round entry to Tate St Ives and Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.

The annual pass costs just £10.

How do I buy or renew my pass?

You can purchase or renew your Locals Pass on your next visit to Tate St Ives. Please ensure each person buying a pass brings along two forms of ID including proof of Cornish residency. This could be a Council Tax bill or driving licence and something with a signature such as a debit or credit card.

To help us process your Locals Pass as efficiently as possible and save waiting times at the till please create an account or sign in and ensure your address details are up to date in advance of arrival.

Please do not email us your documentation, simply bring it with you on your next visit.

Can I just turn up at the gallery with my pass?

Yes. there is no need to book, just turn up with your card.

How do I use my pass in the gallery?

Please ensure that you bring your pass with you when you visit. Pass holders will be asked to confirm proof of identity when visiting using their pass.

Each pass admits one person.

Some activities are not covered by the Locals Pass and will require an additional ticket to be purchased.

What if I've lost my pass?

If you've lost your pass but it is still valid and you would like to visit us, email visiting.stives@tate.org.uk.

What are the terms and conditions?

  • Locals Passes are available to all permanent residents of Cornwall
  • Locals Passes are non-transferable, non-refundable and may not be re-sold
  • Locals Passes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer
