Summer Family Fun!

This August kicks off a full programme of activities for families at Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum. Helping families to get the most out their visit, a series of workshops, trails and family packs have been devised around the Summer exhibitions. Admission is free to under 18’s.

Tying in with the David Nash exhibition, Drawing on Nature is a weekday programme for families that takes place from 14.00-16.00, Mondays to Fridays, throughout August. These fun, informal, practical sessions are artist-led and include activities designed for all ages, making the most of the unique location of the gallery and the works on show.

On Mondays and Wednesdays Tate St Ives will be using its spectacular beach location to full effect with workshops on Porthmeor Beach. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays the workshops take place on Tate St Ives’ roof-top.

Tickets are £2, £1 concessions, and there is no advance booking, simply turn up and enjoy!

Self guided family activities in the form of trails and family packs are available throughout the year. Designed to help families get more out of their visit, adults and children can learn and engage with the displays together.
