What do You See? Episode 1

The artist Vong Phaophanit made this artwork Neon Rice Field out of uncooked dry white rice. He used seven tons of the stuff. That weighs more than your average male elephant! Now, that’s a lot of rice! It’s laid in long straight mounds, with red neon lights in between. As well as looking at the rice, you can also smell it in the gallery. The artist is bringing something that you normally cook with and eat together with lights which are not something you eat at all. Why do you think he did that?
