The view parallel to the gutter of the sketchbook may show the Leopoldsberg and Leopoldskirche near Vienna (see, for example, Tate D31440, D31444, D31449; Turner Bequest CCCXI 13, 15, 17a).
The sketch orientated inversely to that described above possibly shows Innsbruck, with the Cathedral at left and Wilten Basilica in the distance.
