Here Turner depicts Copenhagen from the Landemaerket (‘Landmark’), a main street which extends from the Rosenborg Palace down towards Frue Plads Square. Trinitatis Church, the Round Tower and the Church of Our Lady are visible. There is an illegible inscription at centre left.
