This rough sketch is a view of Aussenalster Lake at Hamburg, taken from the Alsterglacis. Visible is the Church of St George, a windmill and the Lombardsbrücke (Lombard Bridge). The early morning sun is reflected in the waters of the Aussenalster at right.
