These sketches depicting Copenhagen extend onto folio opposite (Tate D30828; Turner Bequest CCCV 4). Both are wide-angle views of the city taken from the Øresund or Sound. The Church of Our Saviour, famed for its helix or corkscrew spire, is also visible.
