Here Turner pictures Dresden from an upper level of the Zwinger palace. The prospect encompasses the Japanese Palace across the Elbe River and the Wall Pavilion partly hidden from view by trees. At right is the Hofkirche (Dresden Cathedral) and Schloss (the City Palace).
