Drawn with the page turned horizontally, this outline note is apparently copied from part of a landscape composition by Gaspard Dughet (1615–1675); compare the attributed Classical Landscape in Bolton Museum and Art Gallery and the View of Tivoli with Rome in the Distance in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
