This is a sheet from the Brocklesby Mausoleum sketchbook, of which seven pages survive, disbound; see under Tate D05159 (Turner Bequest LXXXIII 1). Here the Mausoleum is seen from farther away than in that view, and from a different angle, but again showing the trees grouped around the top of the drive leading to the monument. The architecture is indicated only summarily.
