It is not certain that this is a view at Goodrich, but the conformation of the low wooded cliffs and the siting of the castle are consistent with that location. A similar scene on D01663 (Turner Bequest XLI 30) may also show Goodrich, as may the coloured drawings on D01648 and D01663 (Turner Bequest XLI 18a, 38).
