The Abbey ruins are in the distance on the left. Made with the page turned horizontally, this is the last of a sequence of twelve drawings of Malmesbury in the present book; see under folio 2 recto (D01252; Turner Bequest XXXVIII 3).
Technical notes:
There are blue paint smears towards the bottom centre and at the bottom right.
