As with the folio opposite (Tate D28312; Turner Bequest CCLXXXIX 11a), this series of landscape sketches show the villages of Bernkastel and Kues and the ruins of the Burg Landshut. The lowermost view incorporates the pontoon or flying bridge over the Moselle.
