The main view continues across folio 26 verso opposite (D22197), under which the possible subject and the significance of Turner’s note ‘Road to Chapl’ are discussed
There are three further slight sketches on this page, made around the edges of the main view and separated by pencil lines. Upside down in relation to it at the bottom centre is a view of Haddon Hall from the north-west across the bridge over the River Wye; the largest of the three supplementary sketches, made with the page turned vertically, shows a similar prospect. For other views of the hall, see under folio 24 recto (D22192). Upside down at the top centre is perhaps another Haddon view, exaggerating one of the corner towers.
