At the top left is the western elevation of the Woodstock Gate, in the form of a triumphal arch, with Blenheim Palace indicated in outline in the distance to the south. The Grand Bridge is shown across Queen Pool to the south-west in the continuation of the view on folio 11 recto opposite (D21992), where there is a subsidiary sketch, apparently of another bridge.
