This church tower at the end of a street is possibly that of the Abbey of St Bertin at St Omer, as Turner’s note alongside an accompanying detail would suggest. However, it is even more hastily sketched than the slightly closer view of the same subject on the recto (D29042; Turner Bequest CCXCIII 6), leaving the identification tentative.
