Turner has produced this drawing with the page turned horizontally. The sketch depicts two roughly drawn figures towards the bottom left. There suggestion of their costume. Simple wavering outlines delineate the profile of land immediately behind the figures, perhaps dunes or low cliffs. There are some very loose vertical features on the skyline.
Technical notes:
The areas of pale red found on folio 7 verso (D35347) continue onto this page. The paper appears to have been rubbed in some places, leaving it a little buckled.
