Walter Bayes Letter to James Bolivar Manson ?Before 14 March 1914
The only London Group meeting at which Walter Bayes was not present took place on 14 March (TGA 806/10/6). As Bayes writes to Manson to ‘count in my vote with the others’, this suggests that he would not be attending a meeting.

Dear Manson,
Thinking you would be down at Fitzroy St on Saturday I carried down the enclosed to glide surreptitiously into your hand together with 1/3d the price of silence.
As you didn’t come you have lost the gold. If you think that my good intentions are equivalent to delivery on Saturday, count in my vote with the others
Yours with regards
Walter Bayes
