Not mentioned in Finberg’s 1909 Turner Bequest catalogue,1 this page is blank except for the tops of two pinnacles continued from the drawing of Wrexham Church on the following page, which has been largely torn out; the drawing continues on the surviving stub, folio 17 recto (D41432; Turner Bequest XIX 16a), and on the rest of the torn-out page, Tate D00402 (Turner Bequest XXIII b), which is kept separately (see also the sketchbook’s introduction).
