These are views of Saxon Switzerland (Sächsische Schweiz), a mountainous region located to the south east of Dresden in Saxony. The Pfaffenstein and Königstein mountains are at centre, labelled ‘Fa[...]stein’ and ‘Konigs’. Turner has marked a ‘Road’ in the foreground.
