This page contains two sketches of landscapes in Savoy. The larger study, comprising a church and a river amidst wooded countryside, is part of a wider composition which continues on the opposite sheet of the double-page spread, see folio 62 verso (D14091). The subject is tentatively identified as a view of Les Échelles, a village which lies on the River Guiers Vif in Savoy.
The second sketch depicts figures on a road or bridge. The location is currently unidentified.
