Another mast, with flying pennant, appears on folio 13 verso of this sketchbook (D05182). Folio 6 verso (D05175) has a sketch of a barge and folio 14 verso (D05186) one of the bow of a boat. It is not known when or where these were done, but the most likely location would be the Thames near Somerset House where Turner attended the Academy Life Class.
