These three slight sketches of Copenhagen and its surrounding coastline were taken on the Øresund. Turner has inscribed ‘El[...]’ below one of the sketches. The artist has also rendered a squared off view of grand building with two towers. This is labelled ‘F[...]bg’ which may refer to Frederiksberg in Copenhagen.
